Vaginal Dryness & Atrophy

Vaginal dryness and atrophy are conditions that commonly affect women going through the menopause. Exercising with the Kegelmaster™ is one of the best ways of alleviating these conditions effectively.

As you exercise against the progressive resistance you strengthen and tone the muscles within the vagina, plump up the tissues and regain a youthful tone and sensation.

As vaginal dryness can make sexual intercourse painful you may be pleasantly surprised to find this will significantly ease after a short period of regular exercise with the It is not uncommon for women to find they can once again enjoy sex with their partners, even if they were once beginning to feel as though they may never feel that way again.

Many women report feeling much more confidence and ease in their relationships upon easing these conditions.

Sometimes very active sportswomen will find to their great dismay and frustration that vaginal dryness can prevent them from feeling the satisfaction they once felt through their sporting activities. Regular use of the Kegelmaster™ for 5-6 minutes a day is all that is needed to greatly reduce if not be completely free of vaginal dryness in these situations also.

Retroverted Uterus

A retroverted or tipped uterus can cause pain during sexual intercourse. Regular exercise can relieve this. The pelvic floor muscles are responsible for holding all the organs in the pelvis in place. Bulking up these muscles can greatly assist in preventing the uterus from being bounced about during intercourse. As the strengthened muscle holds the uterus more firmly in place it is far less susceptible to the jarring effect of vigorous sexual activity, and the pain often felt during sex due to a tipped or retroverted uterus.

Menstruation

The standard advice given to reduce menstrual cramping is to get more oxygen into the system; whether through walking, reducing caffeine and nicotine intake, both of which Regular exercise with progressive resistance  can greatly relieve menstrual cramping. Regular exercise of any muscle leads to the expulsion of toxins and an increased blood and oxygen supply. Increasing the blood and oxygen supply to the pelvic reduce the amount of available oxygen to the tissues. As exercising with the directly increases the blood and oxygen supply to the pelvic area it’s easy to understand how pelvic floor exercises with resistance significantly reduce menstrual cramping.

VaginalTightening

Exercising regularly with the Kegelmaster™ causes a dramatic tightening within the vagina.

Stronger Orgasms

The pelvic floor muscles are the muscles that contract during orgasm. The strength or lack of strength in your pelvic floor muscles can determine whether or not you have an orgasm in the first place.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this really work….?

Yes, it does!!  However, just like any other piece of exercise equipment, it will not work if it is sitting in the drawer

My doctor has told me to do pelvic floor exercises, but I am not sure how………The pelvic floor exercisers are designed to isolate & work the pelvic floor muscles alone.  By following the instructions in the box, it will be much easier to know how to exercise this area.

I have been doing Pelvic floor exercises for years with no result………why?

Dr. Arnold Kegel discovered in the 1940’s that you can actually strengthen the vaginal muscles through resistance strength training.  The pelvic floor exercise was always intended to be done with resistance.  Just sitting there and squeezing your pelvic floor muscle would be like sitting at your computer and tightening which ever muscle you feel like working out today!  Not exactly the way we would achieve a six pack!!

How long does it take?

Just like working out at the gym, everybody is different and work their bodies at different rates, however, simply by using the pelvic  floor exercisers – we increase the blood flow to the vaginal area.  This will probably be the first thing to be noticed, possibly within a week.  After a couple of weeks you may experience a difference with the bowel & a tightening of the vagina etc, keep going but don’t overdo it!  Follow the instructions your package.

Who can use the exercisers?

Any woman of any age would benefit from using the Pelvic f floor exercisers.  Even if there are no symptoms of urine incontinence, irritable bowel, prolapse etc, the body will get out of shape if not worked a little.

Who should NOT use the Pelvic floor exercisers?

Do not use the exercisers for 6 weeks after birth or pelvic surgery, if you have a urine infection, when using other intra-vaginal devices like tampons or diaphragms.  Pregnant women should consult their doctor.

What happens if I stop using the exercisers?

As with any other muscle……If they are not used, atrophy will occur, the tissue breakdown within the muscle will occur gradually.  Use it or lose it!

Will it hurt?

It shouldn’t hurt.  Use a good water based lubricant, relax, be gentle with yourself.
Exercising this area may feel a little strange at first, however as soon as you start noticing the changes in you body – there will be no wanting to go back!

How long does delivery take?

Delivery within Australia usually takes approximately 3 working days.  International postage can take up to 15 working days.

Will the packaging be discreet?

All our products are posted in plain, padded postage bags, with no reference to Pelvic Floor Solutions, or the contents of the parcel.  For international post, a declaration has to be signed regarding the contents of the package; in this case your exerciser will be referred to as a “feminine exerciser”.
